What the calculator works with
- Euro pallet 1200 by 800 millimetres, deck height 144 millimetres, own weight about 25 kilos. That is the EPAL standard.
- Cases sit square and in one direction per layer. The calculator tries both directions and shows the better one.
- The floor of a standard 13.6 metre trailer takes 33 Euro pallets. Stacking is not counted here.
- The dynamic load capacity of an EPAL pallet is 1,500 kilos. Above that the result is flagged.
This is how it leaves the building
Folded packs pass under the film on the flowpack machine. Eighteen seconds, no sound. For a buyer this is not a mood shot but evidence of scale and hygiene.
